›ROCKINSONG‹ is a lullaby for two bodies and an acoustic space. The duet developed by the Frankfurt-based director Ksenia Ravvina and the choreographer Kristina Veit deals with the state of falling asleep. A rhythmic, spatial body emerges before the eyes of the audience that lets one forget the sources of movement and sound. Incessant swinging, swaying, dangling, and rocking keeps the bodies in motion, and yet they simultaneously appear motionless. The perspective tilts, the images shimmer, until the viewers ask themselves if they are still awake.
